Prop firm evaluations are designed to be difficult. Most traders fail — statistics suggest 80-90% of evaluation accounts never reach funded status. Our Prop Firm Bot was built specifically to beat these odds with a systematic, risk-first approach.
Understanding the Challenge
A typical 2-step evaluation (like FundedNext $50K) has these rules:
- Phase 1: Hit +10% profit target ($5,000 on $50K)
- Phase 2: Hit +5% profit target ($2,500 on $50K)
- Daily Loss Limit: -5% ($2,500) — breach = instant fail
- Total Drawdown: -10% ($5,000) — breach = instant fail
- Minimum Trading Days: 5 days
The daily loss limit is the killer. One bad day, one revenge trade, one moment of emotional weakness — and weeks of progress are erased.
The 4-Zone Safety System
Our bot uses a traffic-light system that dynamically adjusts aggression based on the account's current state:
🟢 GREEN Zone
Daily P&L: +0.5% or better
Full aggression enabled. Normal lot sizes, all strategies active. This is where we make money.
🟡 CAUTION Zone
Daily P&L: -0.5% to -1.5%
Reduced lot sizes (70%). Only A-grade setups. One loss away from trouble — proceed with care.
🟠 WARNING Zone
Daily P&L: -1.5% to -3.0%
Minimal lot sizes (40%). Only SNIPER-grade setups (8+/10 score). We're protecting the account.
🔴 HALT Zone
Daily P&L: -3.0% or worse
ALL TRADING STOPS. No exceptions. Wait for tomorrow. Live to fight another day.
Anti-Revenge Trading
The #1 reason traders fail evaluations is revenge trading — taking increasingly risky trades to "make back" losses. Our bot has multiple safeguards:
- 30-minute cooldown after every losing trade
- 3 consecutive losses = HALT for the rest of the day
- Lot size reduction after each loss (progressive de-risking)
- No manual override — the bot cannot be "convinced" to trade more aggressively
Typical Timeline
- Day 1-2: Conservative trading, +2-3% gain, establishing rhythm
- Day 3-4: Normal aggression in GREEN zone, +3-5% daily
- Day 5-7: Phase 1 target reached (+10%)
- Day 8-12: Phase 2 completed (+5% target)
Average completion: 5-7 trading days for both phases combined.
Why It Works
The secret isn't finding more winning trades. It's about eliminating blowup risk. A human trader might have the same win rate as our bot, but they'll eventually have a bad day where emotions take over. Our bot doesn't have emotions. It follows the system, every single time.
